No Unnatural Ingredients Or Nasty Chemicals.
Because those strange-sounding ingredients you’re not sure about are usually heavily processed, not great for the environment, and not needed for the body. We work hard to source all-natural ingredients, using our knowledge and expertise to develop our protein powders without the need for unnecessary additives or nasty chemicals.
-
No Global Manufacturing.
Because we source ingredients from UK companies and make all our protein powders here in the UK, we reduce travel miles and emissions. Even better, we know exactly what goes into our protein, and where it comes from.

No Plastic That Isn’t 100% Necessary.
Because we don’t supply unnecessary plastic scoops and shakers that just end up in landfill, we’re reducing the amount of plastic in the world. After testing a variety of options, we still use plastic for the tubs which contain our powder.
But don’t panic, because they’re made from HDPE – easy to re-use and the most widely recycled plastic in the UK. It’s recycled by over 97% of UK councils. The compostable bags we tried couldn’t be recycled in the paper waste, and only 3% of homes have suitable compost bins, so we stuck with HDPE.

No Cows.
Because cows have a big, negative impact on the environment. They breathe out CO2 and they emit methane – all of which has a damaging effect on our atmosphere. They are often feed soy that’s grown on land which has been cleared of rainforest, reducing habitat for wildlife and contributing to deforestation.
And most protein powders contain whey. Whey that’s made from cows’ milk. Ours don’t. We use new types of proteins from crickets and from plants – sustainably farmed to contribute to a healthier planet.

No Deforestation.

No Deforestation.
Because other protein powders use whey or soy. Whey and soy need large amounts of land for production, for cows to graze or soy to be grown. Land that’s gained by clearing rainforests. Do you know how many trees are cut down for cow pastures or soybean fields? More than 80,000 football pitches a day*
Our powders don’t destroy the environment. In fact, for every pack sold, we work with the World Land Trust to secure a m2 of biologically diverse habitat. It’s our way of giving back.

No, We’re Not Finished
Because there are always more ways to protect our planet.
- We’re always looking for locally-grown ingredients
- We need to replace the seal on our packaging with a fully recyclable option
- We want to look at more ways to measure, reduce and offset our carbon footprint
If you’ve got an idea to help us protect our planet further, drop us a line. We’re always listening.
