Should I blend or shake?
We use real food ingredients that have been designed to be easy to use so you only need to shake your powder with either water or a milk replacement. If you don’t have a shaker, a blender will work absolutely fine. A blender will give your shake a smoother, fluffier mix and is best used when you want to add fruit.

Are your products sustainable?
We minimise our environmental impact with everything we do, even if it costs more. We have searched for the lowest impact ingredients, a UK-based manufacturer and recyclable tubs. Where we have not been able to find the right solution, we will keep searching.

What makes crickets a good source of protein?

Why do you use plastic packaging?
Packaging is a grey area and not all plastic is bad. Plastic is extremely good at protecting and providing a barrier for food, helping it to last longer which reduces food waste. We have removed all unnecessary plastic (like plastic scoops) but have kept plastic tubs which are made from HDPE. This is easily recycled, protects the food and is resealable. Other packaging options we investigated were plastic pouches, compostable packaging and paper options and none of these were suitable. See our blog for more information.
