Award wins for Reload and Recover

It’s been an exciting week for Protein Rebel with an award win and a recommendation from a leading fitness magazine. So although Protein Rebel has only been launched a month, we’re thrilled that our protein powders are already getting recognition and great feedback.

Last Friday evening (18th September) we attending a virtual awards ceremony in our dining room – The Nourish Awards 2020. Dubbed the toughest health food awards in the UK, our banana flavoured Reload was up against some well-established multi-million (and billion) pound turnover protein powder brands in the High Protein and Sports Nutrition category. So when Reload was named the winner, we were understandably over the moon! The judges – leading nutrition, food and health experts – were really impressed with the combination of natural ingredients and the superfood qualities of crickets, plus they thought it tasted great. What a result!

And then on Saturday (19th September), well-respected publication Men’s Fitness hit the shelves. Containing a protein powder round-up, our Recover powder came out as the recommended protein product scoring 4.5 out of 5 stars overall – what an endorsement!

So, after months of developing and finalising our products to make them taste good while providing a great nutritional profile (naturally!), we’re thrilled that they’re being so positively received by both health food and fitness experts. We’re also delighted by the positive customer feedback we’re getting.  And the months (and years) ahead will only add to the excitment as we have new products in the pipeline that promise to add more innovation to our range.
